They were rolling the wicket when we turned up. There was also the large concrete patch at long on from the top end

Our 1st team won the league and won the play off to the EAPL, east anglian premier league which is the top league around us :) so will be a good season next season for me to follow them

(No Swearing Please) end to the season, on 32 going well and feeling good at the crease I was bowled by a ball from a crappy leg-spinner that must of rolled along the ground, it pitched around halfway down the pitch and my eyes lit up so I went to smash it over mid-wicket but it stayed very low and definitely bounced at least twice. It wasn't given no ball so I had to walk.

Bouncing twice isn't a no ball!

But rolling along the ground is and the ball that bowled me must have been very close to rolling along the ground.

Finished the season with 49 yesterday think it was more as sure score missed some of my fours but nice way to end.  Averaged 24 better than last couple of seasons.  Pleased as disrupted season as got going then didnt play for 3 weeks then started coming together again.  Keeping coming along

Club dinner last night. Picked-up batting award - 570 runs at a avg of 52. Could have got more runs but had 7 games called-off and missed 2-3 games.

Also picked-up award for "Clubman of the Year". This was a big surprise and even more cherished than the batting award.

Indoor nets from October end.

Yesterday was a washout.  We have one game left on sunday...  Long range forecast predicts a washout!

Our last game yesterday, Friendly match a charity cricket team i help run. We played through the rain and got soaked. However won on the last bowl with out no 9 smashing 44 from around 20 balls. Good way to finish the season. 3 Stumping and 21 Runs so half decent game. Roll on next season.

First indoor game of the season tonight

Got a ton last game of the season, and was supposed to have a game yesteday but it poored down :(!

So yet again I've come into form in the last three games, 66*, 65 and 114.

Ended up with an average of 30 after feeling like I had a terrible season
