Top Level Coaching
« on: April 06, 2009, 09:28:17 PM »

If you are serious about playing cricket and you want to better your technique then call Gary Palmer. Just got back from a 3 hour 1 on 1 session with him and cannot recommend him enough.  You can look him up on the following website http://www.ccmacademy.co.uk/one_to_one.html

Will post some video  when it's finished uploading

looks like an awesome coach, bit expensive for me though! the coach at my club was runner up for young coach of the year in britain last september. and he charges about £15-20 an hour for 1 2 1 sessions. palmer does look an awesome coach though....

Open stance for the drive was because the bowling machine was round the wicket, more closed stance was for over the wicket. The stance when doing the drive was a half-way position for practicing the drive.

Where is he located? I am very interested in getting some coaching, I really want to push on and improve. The coach at my club is a bit too tied for time to give one on one, and I'm finding hard to make progress in casual net practices. I live in Coventry if anyone can recommend a coach?

If you dont mind me asking, what standard of cricket are you playing? I would love coaching like that, but would being a weaker batsmen mean I wouldnt get as much from it and be wasting my money, or would it help be bat up the order ?
