The good and the not so good news
« on: April 07, 2009, 02:22:15 PM »

Hi guys,

The good news it that the cops have managed to trace and nab the guy who stole my kit with his friends.

The not so good part is that they have recovered only the bats (both BAS of which the guy took the sticker off the bat with half heartwood), helmet, my shoes and P1s. For rest of the stuff - whites, pads and gloves the guy has either burnt or thrown them in the recycling yard.

The troubling part is that, I had ordered 2 bats - one from Warsop (custom shape - not the usual Platinum or Venom profile) and a Salix (again custom shape with Daemon stickers on it). With the bats having been recovered, I will be in a very tight spot financially as the insurance claim will not be very much.

So if there are any takes for any of these bats please email or PM me.

Thank you.

There is something sinister about someone removing the stickers of your bat... When you see it again it looks tainted!! Happened to me at school ages ago... Its like who the hell do you think you are!

Glad you got your kit back, it's horrible when you get robbed. Good work Police as well! There should be a dedicated crime force stopping people who steal kit, I had socks stolen, who the hell wants my smelly socks!
