Went into Globe Sports today to take my broken Boom Boom in. After a quick conversation they said they'd send it back to SS to get it repaired hopefully within a week. My dad said that I should have a spare bat in-case one breaks or to use in nets so offered to pay for a new bat if I paid him back.
Very quickly decided on this, the last Halo in the shop. It is an 808 which weighs 2lb 9, 12/13 fairly straight grains with a small butterfly stain near the toe. Picks up nicely for a low middled bat, not huge edges guessing about 30mm. Off the mallet it seems decent but not really done anything productive with it yet other than shadow bat. I'm really pleased as it feels really nice in the hands with a lovely handle with one grip on. Will knock it in before Saturday and if the weather holds it might get its first outing although will have the Boom Boom if I bottle it

Anyway, here are some quick pics. Enjoy, I hope.
