A pie and a blank bat.
« on: April 12, 2012, 05:52:20 PM »

As you will have seen, I had a net with Canners and have been in discussions with him for about 3 months about getting a low middled bat, with a flat face around the 2 lbs 9 mark.

Last night Canners, knowing the Stig and I would be there bought a huge bag of about 30 bats and proceeded to pull out all the 2lbs 8 bats, in two of the 4, full size shapes he has.

It was an unbelieveable tough choice, but somehow I have ended up with this ABSOLUTE MONSTER - it really is a beast.

I have loads of pictures, but here are a few tasters...

time for the huge coin on the edge test:

I used it with the bowling machine (as did the Stig) - there results were very impressive... as was the pick up, which for a low middled bat was really good.

oh and proof it is a full sized bat:

Mr Blank Bats, thank you - and this is unreal  :o

...and what's the price for forum members Canners?

the website price for these, I think is £225 - there is a forum discount, which Blank Bats can inform everyone of - I paid a lot of money for this - with a slight discount, but not massive and there was no postage involved.

money well spent.

What is the other bat in the last photo?

That will be an original Revolution bat, obtained from a former forum sponsor - the new one goes at least as well as this :)

A beauty of a bat!! Good call on the pie, perhaps I will get the missus to whip one up. I'm sure the response will be "make it your own *#$#^& self".

ooh I am a massive fan of Andy, Marcus and their work with SAF bats, this just was too good an offer to refuse, plus I wanted to show off the revolution stickers! :)
