I try and stay as white as possible on pads and gloves, preferably match the gloves to my bat, or try and keep it as neural as poss. At the moment, I have blank pads (which the pvc is coming off), Bulldog spirit gloves which are amazing, and my Bulldog Pedigree plus. Not one for fancy colours, my batting gets me in enough trouble, without me looking flash a the same time lol.

My matching (cheap Sports Direct Special) GM D3O kit this year is the first time I have ever used matching pads and gloves. Must mean I am now a proper batsman.....

I seem to go through stages where I either want all matching kit or try to get the best gear possible for my budget even if it doesn't match. Last year I had puma pads and kook gloves with entirely different colours. This year after picking up some bargains I've gone for a GM theme with D3O LE pads and last years original LE gloves, both of which are really good.

After buying my redback bat last year I was tempted to get matching softs but didn't like the gloves and prefer pads with coloured insides that won't stain. Doesn't matter too much really as I'm not usually in that long and even when I am I'm far more likely to get stick for being a slogger than what I look like.

I like my bat grip to match my bat stickers. The rest is just the best I can afford

I always try to buy products of two brands,CA & SG....

Right now I only have My CA bat  & gloves matching but hopefully after a bit of more investment I can have two full kits of CA & SG....  :)

Some colour co-ordination needed, green gloves and grip. As long as I like my kit then I'm not too worried

Never used to even think about kit coordination but I'm finding since joining this forum I've become more conscious of it - to the point where I've considered using less comfortable gloves purely because they match my pads (kahuna 600's).

Sensibility should prevail though ???

I'm a bit mental when it comes to this. Colours aren't important, but for some reason I feel compelled to use all the same brand when I buy kit. Actually, I do prefer traditional and understated colours (greys, blacks, whites) on my kit, rather than the larish oranges and pinks and blues and neon greens. At the moment I'm in all Gray-Nicholls, and before that I used all Puma.

Currently I've got a XXX GN bat, XXX 750 gloves and XXX Custom pads. It helps that the pads are the best pair I've ever had and the gloves are extremely comfy and the leather on the palms is so soft. On the gloves, I did go for those over another pair because they had a white wristband rather than the traditional GN checks (so I guess colour did matter after all!). I also bought a Masuri helmet in my club colour (navy) because the only Albion, which I was going to buy (ideally I'd have bought an Ayrtek, but cost!) in the store was white.

I like having gloves and bat match and then pads can be anything plain.
