Level One coaching course In London
« on: May 07, 2012, 08:28:06 PM »

Hi guys,

I was thinking about doing My level 1 course this summer down in England as the courses in Scotland don't start until autumn.

I haven't a clue how I would find out were to apply and when so would anyone be able to help me out with this? I would be looking to take the course from start of July to the end of August in or near London

Firstly mate, if you're going to coach seriously, then I would go straight to level 2. Secondly, they are run by the county boards and run when there is the need for them, so go to Middlesex/Surrey etc. county cricket club websites and click on coach education and courses.

http://www.surreycricketboard.org/page/coach-education/courses/ukcc1-348/
http://www.middlesexcricketboard.com/coaching/coach-education/

The only problem that might come up is that they like to support people from their county first obviously.

Ah, Didn't know you could go straight to level two. Unfortunately it requires me to 18 so I will hold of for a year. Also What is the 1st aid course? Would I have to take that course also?

Yeah Might just wait until next year and do it in Scotland!
