Level 2 coaching
« on: May 07, 2012, 10:58:49 PM »

I've passed my level 2 coaching assessment a few weeks ago. Clubs around my area pay their level 2 coaches £10 an hour to do some coaching sessions with the Junior section of the club. For some reason my club doesn't pay me for doing my sessions, even though I have to travel 15 minutes to get to my club also. I was just wondering if anyone gets paid for there coaching?

I do it for free at my club as they paid both my level 1 and level 2 course. I do earn money for coaching district and on the chance2shine project

Have you mentioned to them about money? Usually anything to do with the clubs I've played at I do for free, but they usually cover expenses such as fuel money

15 minutes is hardly a long commute to your club!

Did you pay for the level 2 or did your club put you through it? Our club will pay for us to do coaching courses on the understanding that we then put the knowledge into practice by coaching the kids free.
