Tour de Force?
« on: May 12, 2012, 10:10:37 AM »

Hello all,

I'm on the verge of ordering a New Back from Woodstock, but I'm not sure whether to go for another Curve - which I'm getting on well with, or a tour de force. Can anyone who's handles a tour de force give me their opinion on it?? Particularly interested to hear from those who have handled both the curve and the tour de force for comparison!

Thanks,

w

My mate has the tour de force, and brother has the curve at the moment. Both pick up fairly well, curve just tips it. Probably due to the lower middle on the tour de force. Personally I prefered the tour de force as it suited my playing style better, but the pick up on the curve is a lot better and it has a slightly longer middle(well the one I've seen)

Tour De Force Is very nice, I'm yet to pick up or see a curve but the TDF picks a beauty. My current TDF flies too. Weight mostly in the middle of the bat. I personally think the TDF was more suited for wickets I play on. But overall, go for a TDF! :)

I haven't seen Curve, however, I have Tour De Force and it is a decent stick

TDF is allround stick so it should be good for back/front foot shots.

I find TDF to be very similar to Newbery Thurxton
