It was about $20. Got it sent to the US office and sent across internal mail to avoid paying ridiculous shipping and customs charges (which looked like being about £40!!!)

Have to say that although comfortable, I don't think it is any more protective than the Puma box shown. I'd also suggest that the Puma box perhaps offers more protection as there is more room for your boys in the event of impact.

I did smack myself in the box with both a number of times, so feel qualified to mention this... I also can't believe that they guy in the video didn't have extra padding, as this size does not feel particularly roomy and I'd have been very disconcerted to receive a ball in the box at that velocity....

There are rumours of videos showing me attempting to injure myself using only my fist...

If I'm honest, I don't think I'd stand in front of a pitching machine in either. The NB is comfortable, but doesn't feel like there is much space for you to spread on receiving a fast one to the box. Having said that, it is supposed to dissipate the energy so this may not be an issue. It doesn't feel like it digs into when hit.

Have to say I'm disappointed by the size of the Mongo XL. I was expecting something of Ron Jeremy proportions. Is this just clever marketing to make those that buy a 'regular' size feel better about themselves

I'm not sure, but the most popular size on the website is the L, and I reckon you'd feel that would be pretty uncomfortable.

It looks like by the shape of it whoever designed it had been hit in the plums and they had swollen and risen
