Can I just say good luck to some of the Somerset boys who will be playing today against Surrey as they have their GCSE's coming up and it must be ready to cram in revision whilst playing...

I have my free ticket for today's game in a corporate box, sitting at home while I have to work... sob :(

Good to see Alex Barrow getting some runs, at a good lick too!

Must be for suppiah to get runs. lets hope we build a decent first innings and then the young guns bowl out of their skins. im bored of seeing somerset play well and end up losing out on a win. should have won against notts, possibly warks if we batted a little better in the first knock, lancs and def durham!

You could say that about 90% of games, we were just the better side.

you could if the margain of victory was large but this was a case of another 20-30 runs and it could have been a different story. better side because you won, not because you outplayed us. i would say if it wasnt for some exceptional slogging from jeetan patel you would have been dead and buried. good game though. atleast somerset are finding a bit of form with the bat now 331/3

Compton looks to be sponsored by Gray Nicolls now, sporting the Powerbow gloves and Oblivion bat during his 83 today. He still had the Puma pads though.
