I'm a total rube as regards bat making - and it's the old debate of English v Kashmir willow.
Kashmir is regarded as heavier and less responsive than English willow, so -
Does Kashmir willow require more knocking in than English?
My other question is, given two bats of the same dimensions, what sort of 'ball park' weight difference would there be between English and Kashmir?
Obviously there will be weight differences even between different grades or clefts of English, but I'm just curious.
