Asad, you know I rate your bats extremely highly! There are some absolute gems there and I certainly wouldn't have an issue using one!!!!!!

To be honest Tim, I am trying to sort through my bats at the moment and will be clearing some down! Wouldn't do it all this year but a few at a time!
The problem I have is that I have so many decent sticks that it's never going to be easy to decide on what to clear first

I know that the Uzi bats are the right top quality. So I have no reason to doubt the quality of the softs - they certainly look fantastic! 
Although looking outside today, I'm left wondering how much damn cricket they'll be!

The clearance on Pete Hosks top quality bats will be at Uzi Sports Shop. I have my eyes on few of his bats.

Quick update on the Black Mamba pads, I've only worn them for a grand total of 13 balls faced and about 5 overs in time so not as long as I would like!

First impressions are very good, comfortable to wear and a good fit for me, they are quite light for a traditional pad so much so that I hardly noticed that I was wearing them.  I've only taken one ball on the pads but the protection felt good.

If I ever managed to play a long knock this year I'll let you know who they feel after a bit of time in the middle!
