Great ton from Beller today but did you see the close up of his bat? He has anti scuff sheet on it but it was still possible to see the grains there looked like a lot of of them 20+ and the ball flew. A cracker of a bat hence the anti scuff he wants it to last as long as possible. Also glad to see Morgan's crouch nowhere near as pronounced as it was during the winter, he will get a ODI ton this summer.

He didn't even bother to sticker them, gm logo very obvious on front of pads without having to pause tv or squint!

Thought Ian Bell was excellent, has always been my favourite England player, so good to watch in or out of form. Great to see him in test and odi form coming up to the SA series, who he has a good record against. Kevin who?

I was at the rose bowl yesterday and he played brilliantly. He looked confident and didn't really go wrong apart from the shot he got out to. England looked like a good one day side bresnan getting 4 wickets and 21 runs. He looking like a good allrounder.

I had to make do with ch5 highlights and he looked outstanding. The timing and crispness of his shots were extremely impressive, the ball seemed to fly from his bat. Long may it continue. If guys are not sure about techniques etc and want someone to copy then Bell is your man.

His innings was one of the best display of how to hit a century without going ballistic from ball one. Well he started with a beautiful step out  drive for six  :D. He is impossible to tie down, got all the strokes. Hopefully more tons from him. I feel KP is over rated compared to Ian Bell.

Definitely the most talented English born player England have at the minute, certainly in the batting department

That's interesting! Just watching a little cricket with Bell batting and noticed that he wasn't using a kookaburra Players bat! A 500 model?  :o
