Millichamp and Hall
« on: June 21, 2012, 05:49:33 PM »

I am going on holidays next month to Devon, I was planning on visiting the Millichamp and Hall shop. Do they sell slight seconds in there ?. Also has anyone used the M&H original bats, If so how good are they ?. Thanks in advance  :)

im probably one of the unlucky ones who has a badly finished Amplus but generally they are good bats, a bit pricey now thou.
most of the seconds have gone now but some of these were storm damaged so those were a complete lottery for £200.00

but generally. Most people on this forum would prob recommend Redback if your going to Devon and they are def better value for money

they are superb bats but for £400 not worth it ......... in fact i dont think any bat is worth that having used several bats that once belonged to pro's there isnt a major difference in their bats to a the £170 BB bat i have.

I am only looking to buy the Millichamp original, I would never pay over 200 for a cricket bat.

I had an original a few years ago when they were much cheaper and it was a nice bat but not outstanding. I would echo what others have  having picked up a lovely Redback for £185 last summer

I'd like to get another M&H Solution, Problem is its too far for me to get down there and i'd never buy a bat blind off of an online retailer. Whats there Customer service like? reckon they'd send pics of the bats they had in stock? They usually have a decent end of season sale too dont they?

I'm also looking at getting an M&H. The M&H website has their Original in Grade 1 for £150, which is a really good deal. I am a long way from Somerset too and have looked at their stockists on their website. There are a lot of shops around the country that stock M&H bats and often can order one in for you to look at if they dont have in stock. Wish I had bought one during the Olympics when IJC had their 30% off deal! Damn!
