Black cat Joker
« on: June 25, 2012, 03:42:53 PM »

Hi guys,

This is my first post on here so not sure if this is the right place. I was wondering about whether or not to buy a Black cat Joker. Has anyone used one or know somebody who has and what is it like also is there a big difference between the joker and the jester (except the price)? So overall views would be good thanks.

I dont know about the difference between the 2. I owned a G1 Joker, it went like a train - only just recently sold it and I'm regretting it big time.

The Jester is a lower grade 2/3 I believe.
The Joker is Grade 1

All I can say is that I used a Jester for a couple of nets and it was dangerous!
But my Joker is even better! So whether you buy a Jester or Joker, I can't imagine you'd be disappointed with either!
I would always go for the Joker if you can afford it as it will be something special!  ;)

If you raise a topic in the 'Items Wanted' section stating what weight you'd like and the budget you have, then that would be the best place to start.
If you can afford new then you could send a PM to Charlie at Black Cat as he's a very helpful guy and would pick you out a stormer....although every one I've used has been a stormer anyway!  ;)

Plenty of items about Jokers on here. I had a G3 Joker, which is what is now branded as a Jester.

What I would say is get a joker/jester slightly heavier than what you usually use as I've found that they pick up a good 1 or 2 ounces lighter than they weigh.
