In my honest opinion -not a fan of the helmets, makes the batsmen look like NFL players!

Pads and gloves are basically canterbury stuff as Ayrtek made the stuff

The gloves do look like Canterbury ones Leo, i just bought myself the Canterbury pads after watching for a cheap pair for many months and i do like them.

Yup they are cants as Ayrtek supplied the designs to canterbury to use for their softs.

Where did you get the canterbury pads from wattytotty I am after some again!

£29.99 from ebay but it was a shop selling them, tried Aero and Warsop lightweight pads but dint think a lot of them but i did like bas version but they are difficult to get and expensive so £29.99 was a bargain and there great.

to be fair no batsman in there right mind would look at there helmets once again another non batsman ie andre nel with the albion

Every brand has to start somewhere and these do so with impressive spec's. I would expect many Pro batsmen to start using these.

let's hope so, would be nice to see them wearing something 3 times as safe as what they current use!

Word of mouth will hopefully start to spread and players will opt to use a product that was designed to help protect their livelyhood should they get struck.

What's the deal with the England Vodafone helmet? Is that lined up for someone? Or did Ayrtek just decide to make one up...
