We use these in Cornwall, very consistent ball.

We use a Readers Ball...as our league is sponsored by Readers, not sure of the exact model as it is embossed with the name of the league, but it's a reasonable ball.

We changed this year to some new SS balls(no idea what model). there have been lots of complaints on the league's facebook page but I've bowled plenty of overs with them and find them to be fairly decent, keep their shape and swing around for quite a while.

We used one of them the other week against a touring side, it was awful. Was a mess after 15 overs, and was the darkest coloured ball ever

Must've been a wrong un. We use the Blenhiem i think and a box of six varies in colour. Never split or fell apart

Lords Grade A Imperial Crown,i dont bowl but they feel like rock hard stones when you hit them.

anyone know how good these are. Used to use readers or dukes in the league when i was younger in UK.

Readers and it's rubbish. Doesn't swing, doesn't have a big enough seam and over lacquered. Only good thing is it lasts 45 overs.

Bargain ball - Raje Sports do a ball for £5-6 that swings a bit with a decent seam. I've been in his shop when he's busy reject Dukes and Readers balls!. If you have a choice (most leagues don't) then it's a good budget buy.

Readers Sovereign. Pretty decent ball. Normally still in reasonable shape after 53 overs (max side batting first can bat)

been using pink oxbridge super crown something in t-20 matchs and they are fantastic...swing and retain shape...using a slightly higher quality white ones from same manufacturers and they are great too...

although we are getting ours straight from manufacturer so we save money...

Our association uses Kookaburra balls, Turf I think they're called. They had an arrangement with them this season to have the association name and details printed onto the balls, which really messed with the lacquer. It would start to peel off after about two overs and wouldn't swing when that happened. Rubbish.
