As you may have seen on Twitter and Facebook, we have cut the price of our full knocking-in service from £40.00 to £25.00
Between a third and a half of our bats are ordered with this option, but for 2 reasons we'd like ALL customers to choose it. First, we haven't yet had a bat returned that we have run in. Returns are a pain for the customer, and can be expensive if the bat hasn't been properly prepared. Secondly, when a bat is prepared correctly, it will perform better, and last longer. Bats also tend to get better over time, and many modern bats break before they reach their best performance. We obviously want our bats to be as good as possible, so more people will buy them.
Therefore, it is in both our and the customers' interest to have the bats pre knocked-in, so we have reduced the price.
