Drawknives

Having just purchased a part-made cleft off of wilkie, I've been looking at sourcing tools. I can easily lay my hands on a rasp and several types of plane at home, as well as sourcing a flat bottomed spokeshave fairly cheaply. However, I have seen a few drawknives around, but I'm a) not sure whether a straight or curved one would be better and b) not sure whether I'd need one with a part-made cleft. So any advice would be most welcome.

You don't really need one, however, if will take far longer using just a plane.
p.s. i have some tools for sale, open to offers especially to multiple purchases

Thanks, I already have a spokeshave on order anyway, so I think I'll see how I get on with what I've got. If it looks like a struggle I may have offer to take the drawknife off your hands...
