Anyway, the only one I spotted on a quick recce this weekend was a Scimitar - ring any bells?

The Scimitar was only around for a couple of years around 2000. Best way to describe it is that it was an update to the GN 500 Pro balance aka 4 scoop. It's a very nice medium weight bat.

My oblivion was awesome but it broke in less than a season.
The Quantum I'm using at the moment is really nice but the oblivion has to be the favorite.

Hi guys,

i got two Gray Nicolls cricket bats of the older version. One is the Powerbow 5 star and the other is the Ignite 4 star.

Both have BSG on the shoulder and BPS on the handle written. Does anyone know what that means?

Favourite Hookes Hurricane Twin Scoop circa 1985.  In The garage sits a GN Scoop 100 I thin and a Record.

Oblivion extreme pro, 3.3 went like a gun. But as with my npbiggest kahuna, when it finally died, they stopped selling it and the replacements are not liked.

I had an Ultimate 750, I think this should be the bat they bring back next year! I've got an Optimum 1000 Megastrike which is unused!

Vintage wise nothing goes past my Scimitar but currently my favourite bat is the X181 for performance but love the looks of the new powerbow gen x

I had a Mike Atherton power spot back in the day.

A very cheap model wrapped in some sort of all over tape. When the bat was done, I un=wrapped the tape and the inside was full of saw dust.
