I heard that the Jetstream will be making its way north as of this weekend.  If this is indeed true, what say we extend the season into October and beyond?!

Meh! I don't believe any of it...It's going to rain and we're all going to drown. These same forecasters predicted a bbq summer didn't they?

This is the first season where we are playing into September so hopefully we get good weather for a long while to make up for the rubbish start to the summer..

This quote makes me all the more upset for deciding to start up a cricket shop in this of all years... But at least they're playing cricket everywhere else in the world - big droughts in some places too! Have they introduced a hosepipe ban in the USA yet?

I don't know abt the US but we had a fire ban in Nova Scotia that was lifted last week. i.e no outdoor fires allowed even if you are right next to the water..

After seeing all these posts about how wet a summer you are having, I am SO glad I came over to play last year! The summer last year was great, hardly any washouts...thinking maybe I got lucky!

Last Summer was a bog standard normal Summer!
This Summer is just a Bog!! I have never known a Summer like this one

Maybe your Starting to get all the rain we have been getting the last few years. 2 floods in 3 years for us...not cool! Hope it gets better so you lads can get a few games in!!
