Vintage Bats
« on: July 17, 2012, 10:12:45 PM »

Picked up these this evening from the club i play midweek for. Couple of interesting profiles.

All of them actually still play quite nicely. A bit of TLC and they will be good to go.

If anyone wants these then please get in touch and we can discuss a price but if not ill clean them up and keep hold of them.

That's the bizarre clipper profile I remember. The Rival looks good too.

Would like to see what these look like once they've had a bit of TLC Dan.

I owned one of those clippers about 28 years ago

I had one about 15 years ago. It was a nice bat.

The Clipper was made by the original County Sports, so it's at least 30 years old

That's about right... I think I was about 14 when I had mine.

this was made by Martin Berrill for my 15th birthday (it used to have the lovely caerulex stickers on)
I really ought to send it back to county to be cleaned up and returned to its former glory. I scored my first few hundreds with this lovely bat...
