I reckon you'll get an equal number of good reviews on both - I've used both, although own a H4L. Buzz has a lovely BB. His is a bit special. I'd also look at a Hades from SAF - mine feels excellent and I'm excited about using it on the pitch.

I have a BlankBat and it is spectacular, it is up there.

I am always pain to deal with but yet they were so courteous. Amazing blokes and amazing service

Both, Canners and 100 not out have sheer knowledge of bats and they are fussy when it comes to bat, so what they stock is a good 'un!

Top blokes, top prices, top service and most importantly top products!

Highly recommended!

choose the brand with the stickers you prefer. both are great.

my blank bat was going well yesterday and even the edges felt and sounded good... except when I misstimed on and it went like a rocket back to the mean and nasty bowled who caught it grr.

Buzz I think it's time for another Canners master class ;)

I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal.

If I was in the market for a new bat at the moment, it would only be a BB.

A cracking bat made by The bat making God at a fraction of the price if it bore the usual stickers.

No brainer.

I own 2 H4L bats, and they are brilliant bats. I have 666 monster and an Excel - both have that little bit of difference that's suits me and the tracks I play on. Looking at the other posts it seems both makes of bat are good so if I were you I'd get in contact with both companies and explain your style, level and wickets and see what they say or can offer.

My review of my BB above doesn't really do the bat justice which is more down to the weather than anything else. The knocks I have had the ball has been flying from the middle. I can think of 1 back foot drive and 1 on drive in particular where the response was unlike anything else I have ever used. Hopefully this weekend will provide more batsman-friendly conditions!

As mentioned above, the customer service from the two chaps is excellent, a very personal touch despite only ever corresponding online and through the phone. I have just ordered my 2nd BB, which I will review upon arrival and also keep an eye out for an update to my 1st review after I score 200* on Saturday.

All in all, I can fully recommend Blank Bats. You will not be disappointed

So what have you learned? That most of the bat suppliers on the forum (of which the current favourites are BB) will provide you with an excellent service and product!

Well I've only bought a brand new bat from BB of the forum suppliers so I can't comment on the others.

I sent out PMs to a few of the sponsors regarding a T20-style bat around a fortnight ago which accompanied my post in the items wanted section. I recieved messages back saying they didn't do it, or the couldn't do it in my weight, or they didn't make them in grade 1. Fair enough I thought, it wasn't the standard stock model I was after.

I then recieved a text from Tai which simply read,- 'give me a week'. Within this week he had emailed me pictures of a little beauty. 10/10 for customer service there
