Inspired by Leo I'm starting a CustomBats Primary Club - a club for anybody who gets out for a first ball duck this year.

Let us know when you were out, how you were out (links to scorecards are welcome!) and how you feel about it. Feel free to come on this thread to drown your sorrows with fellow first ball victims!

If you've suffered the humiliation of a first baller at any point in your career , you can join the official primary club, which help raises money for sports and recreational facilities for the visually impaired.

First league match of the season - I go in with J Allen running rampant. Well I should have got forward but he was a malinga style slinger and was literally releasing it from level with his shoulder (9 oclock on clock face) and so you couldnt see it until the last second.
Didn't see it until it shattered my stumps giving me my first ever golden duck.

well i went in as number 8 needing 10 to win from 2 overs and went to smash one of a left arm pie chucker over pie connected v.well but there are tress and it got caught in tree and came down into a fielders hands

although i scored 900 runs this year i did manage to get 3 golden ducks!! 2 were bowled ( crap shots diden't get forward ) and won was plum LBW ( once again dident get forward ) !

Last game of the season and had no ducks and then got clean bowled first ball by a yorker was well pissed off.

Joined the elite club of players with golden ducks this season. Two golden ducks.

I have a habit for second ball ducks, have got out FAR to many times on my second ball

The season before last, I had 4 ducks in the first 6 games. I was quite correctly dropped.
