A question for you bat nerds

Can a lead tape counterbalance alter the feel of a middle? Used a counter balance toda in a knock of 47, and my bat felt dead all of a sudden

yes - it can shift coefficient of restitution, which can make the bat feel a bit odd.

Although I am not entirely sure what that actually is, that is the explanation I have heard before and it relates to the middle of the bat.

When you actually hit the sweet spot it doesn't feel like the sweet spot. But ball still goes

I believe that the more weight higher up the blade obvviously moves the center of balence higher up, which in turn also moves the point on the bat where the least vibration is felt through the handle to a higher point on the blade.

I might be completely wrong. But also, a bat maker tries to have the maximum amount of wood as close to that point of balance as possible.

And appologies if this post is dead, but its not that old right? :)
