Bat Refurbs

Hello all.
I've been sanding down a mates Kookaburra Blade, front and back, all stickers are off.
It's a heavily concaved bat and the edges are higher than the bottom of the concaving (if that makes sense?!?)
What's the best way to sand that down? I can't get right in there with my electric sander.
