Hi as any one got or used a m&h master just after some feedback on what they are like

I played a guy in the weekend, who had one.. Picked it up and I would say it is huge, with a very long middle and a fanstastic ping!

What I know, the weight is from 2.14 and up.. and now i wan't one

bought one in the IJC sale.  Its a BIG bat...and I do mean BIG!   That said, its well weighted, and I think by the time its fully knocked in it will fly.

I picked up that bat in the shop a few weeks ago...  Boy does it feel light for a 2.14!  Felt like a feather to me!

Think you would be a little dissapointed if you had a 2.14+ bat that didnt perform with the pure volume of wood included in it!

It's all right saying that it will perform as its heavy with lots of wood but it's being able to use the weight effectively with need to slog

They are indeed very big, but for 2013, M&H are releasing a lighter version that apparently starts at 2.10...

is it good for the bats to be kept in the window in direct sunlight? - wouldn't this just dry them out?

That hasn't been a worry this season given how little sunshine there's actually been!

It's an interesting point.  We have very big front windows, so it could be a problem in future (when we finally get a long spell of sunshine!) You're the first person that's ever questioned it though! Plus, a cricket shop without bats in the window would seem a little strange in my opinion, so it's a bit of a dilemma...
