Having seen a lot of pics of all your bats I can't help but notice very few of your bats have a lot of red cherry marks on them?!

I've been using my new Redback (absolute gun of a bat) for 2/3 games and it's absolutely covered in red marks. Yes I know it doesn't take away from performance, but there's nothing better than a nice clean blade.

Do you guys wipe them off after each game? Or replace your anti scuff sheets regularly?

I guess it might be the quality of balls we use in our league

Normally white spirit or nail varnish remover will do the trick, but sometimes you should leave some like this

If you've got a face on them then it's easy to clean, just use a bit of water or something and a sponge and then they'll come off with a bit of elbow grease, otherwise a bit of nail polish remover works a treat.

Regarding bats that are naked (without faces on), its a bit harder but a regular sand down on the face keeps it nice a clean and also improves performance slightly.

I was curious about this however I would like to know how to remove the marks left by bowling machine balls, I've tried white spirit AND nail polish remover but all they seemed to do was make the marks fainter. Personally, I can't understand why anyone would want to wipe their bat face clean ever - to me it's like battle scars, and I love being able to look at it after a net / match to see how different it looks, and crucially, to see how close to the middle, if at all, I am hitting the ball! For me, it also gives a certain sense of pride to be able to prove to people that I am capable of middling the ball too! Doesn't happen nearly as often as I'd like, but it's reassuring to have visual proof there...

It's one of the most disappointing things abotu white balls in T20. You don't really get the battle scars!
