2013 Gray-Nicolls Bat Range - what interests you the most?

Hello all,

We have just got our mits on the 2013 Gray-Nicolls catalogue, the first of any such catalogues to come our way yet.

I'm surprised they dropped the Quantum, but the new range looks great, and I'm sure the likes of the Dynadrive and Maverick will be hugely popular, but to be honest, I really don't know where to begin with the others.  The E41 and A61, in particular.  I believe they have been on the Australian market for a while, but brand new to these shores, and for me, they both look exactly the same (apart from the stickers).  Why are they so similar?

Also, from all the options available, what are you guys most interested in (especially from the new range)? It would be great to get some kind of idea because, as much as we'd like to stock everything, we simply won't be able to do that, so need to make sure we choose very carefully.

One mistake we made this year was to not order in more GN100s and Legends at the outset, as Gray-Nicolls quickly ran out and didn't get any more in, so I'm thinking the same situation may happen for the some of the other models in 2013...

Anyway, would be great to get some guidance and advice...

I suspect that the dynadrive will be extremely popular judging by people I have spoken to!!  ;)

Personally I am most interested in the Dynadrive which I imagine will be another big success as per the Scoop. Also the keeping gear looks interesting with a new style palm that I have not seen before on any gloves. If the innovation proves successful I am sure these will be popular.

Yeah I think getting quite a few dynadrives in early would be good as I can see the demand of them being like the scoop last year. A few people I know really want to get their hands on one.

It looks like the dynadrive is going to be popular - I personally do not like the look of the Maverick - but it looks like it's going to be their flagship model for the coming season.

Paul,
Dynadrive (will be like the GN 100 this year - off the shelves in a flash) and Maverick will be quick movers IMO

Among the Aussie versions - E41 is the clear winner - dont be surprised if you get lots of orders from our Aussie forum members if these are prices as per the UK market :)

I will certainly buy a Maverick

Just saw a tweet from Owzat Cricket saying they have a few dynadrives instore for £200. They've moved early to get them in!

I think All Rounder have them in too.  Meanwhile GN have tweeted us saying we can't order until November.  We are clearly very low in their pecking order when it comes to retailers...  :(

Thanks, Yash - what makes the E41 so much better than the A61?

I haven't seen either in the flesh yet, but from the stock photos, they look exactly the same...
