@sarg Nice profile mate.. What are the edge and spine size on this one.. Nice convex profile with spine running down the toe this is what i had in my mind.

My original drooling over it is on this post. Spec photos included

that is probably one of the best looking 3 stripe, wonder why it didn't qualify for a crown

No idea, tiny pin knot near the sticker? To be honest i have no idea the denity. There is a slight variation to them as the 1 stripe is 400. Might be 380-390. I was shown a pic of 3 clefts to choose by Streaky and even though i was 8-12 grains any day, when I was shown it i thought HELL YEAH!

They both ping well but this 3 stripe is a class above. Worked on above 60 bats last season to pay my cricket fees, earn donations for the club and incrementally buy and knock and sell bats to buy these two.

I made a tiny fee for knocking and spend it all on my kit. I have a great kit and deserve it only through hard work, not ability haha

Here is my supply of bats that are (or would be) getting used or prepared for the season

From left to right:
G1 hellfire - still being knocked in
2lb10 on the nose as seen.
That's with 1.5 chevrons and a helicopter scuff sheet.
This is the first time I've weighed this bat, I picked it on feel and because I love the shape. I had no idea it was this light.
Could become my match bat when fully knocked in, it definitely taps up nice and it's not fully prepared yet!

A mystery blank I use as my net bat - being used in training
Weighs 2lb9 & 5/8 as seen
That's with half a chevron and a H4L scale grip applied, along with a helicopter scuff sheet and a bit of fibreglass tape.
There's a few cracks on the inside edge and the toe that I've repaired. As this is my net bat that's fine, it's saved the match bats!
This is another one that hadn't been in the scales until today.

H4L G2 NV
Weighs 2lb11 & 5/8
This is with 1.5 chevrons applied, along with a helicopter scuff sheet.
Swapped with chad over the winter, fully oiled and knocked in.
Used in a few nets, and it pings like a trampoline.
There a couple of grains starting to open up, not the prettiest bat in the world but my potential choice on match day.

And last up (and not pictured) my H4L devil
Weight is 2lb10 & 5/8
This beauty has 1.5 chevrons, a UK scuff sheet and fibreglass edge tape applied.
It is in the Hellfire shape and is just right for me.
It feels good in my hands, pings as well as anything I've used and just gives you confidence when you look down the back of it.
It has a stripe of heartwood down the inside edge and a couple of hard bars, but I like heartwood there and hard bars don't bother me. Not one for the G1 all sapwood brigade, but I love it! It may only be a Devil, but this is al,oust certain to be my weapon of choice come match day!
