I believe offset edges are when the thickest part of the edge is in a different place to where the highest part of the spine is.

Correct me if I'm wrong lads :)

Ah right, is that when there is concaving, but the edges are always thinner than the rest of the bat or something? So the concaving never goes below edge level?

Not quite,

I believe its where the biggest part of the edge is slightly 'offset' from the biggest part of the spine of the bat.

Ah right, makes sense now haha. :D I have no idea what that does in terms of performance, but I take it to be a good thing. :P
