THAT bat...
« on: August 30, 2012, 09:16:14 PM »

Following on from Dave's thread about his Laver PB that just keeps on going, is it just luck to get a bat THAT good?

My Laver is also the best bat I've ever had, but if I broke it, could I really replace it?

My CF was good out of the screws, but still not quite there as the full package.

Can a batmaker consistently produce the same standard or is it just luck of the draw? ??

Thoughts?

They nailed everything but it took time to ease in maybe that is more the problem with me I have a bad innings and any new bat is bottom of pile

In the time I have had the laver which is held together by pure glue I must have had 30 to 40 bats only one other has been kept

I have 2 brand new bats here waiting one is a possible but the good old one always comes back

Also it about shape and pick up I low why I like and try to convince myself otherwise never works
