Tell me something I don't know. I'm sure it was a conspiracy by blank bats to make me buy 2 replacements during the season ;)

this looks a decent stick, as I'm sure mine would've been

This bat has found its way into my collection. It changed hands a couple of times on the forum before it found its way to me - unused and in new condition.
It sat in the bat room or a while and then when I finally decided to give it a go I realised why it kept getting moved on. On the back of the bat under the bottom sticker is a massive crack that runs from the toe. It looks like it was glued/repaired so it might have happened while it was being made and then repaired and sold as new.
Despite the crack it is a very special bat. Performance is exceptional. Worth every cent.

Really? I didn't ever notice that, but then again I didn't have it long. Went through a phase of buying and then selling lots of bats, with this being the one I regret selling the most, is a real beauty

I never moved it on due to damage as I would never do that. I moved it because I was being very picky with weights and shapes, rather than just using the bats. Got caught up in the thrill of getting a new bat every so often, but like I said, I really do regret selling this one.

Just to clarify I think the bat in Original Post is UK made - just the profile is v similar to RS bats

I shouldn't have implied that it was sold because of the crack. When I spotted it I thought "oh crap". But the repair looks professional and it hasn't caused any issues so far.

The original post made me laugh. It's amazing how many of Mike's bats were originally made for Somerset players. Made for Matt Prior was another common one :)

IQ - that's a lovely shape - is that a specific Robinsons model?

Hey FattusCattus, I was in India in March current year and a few of their bats had this shape.

The one in the picture is a Grade 2 called RS Warrior model. I never get RS bats but pretty much bought it for the profile!
