really cannot understand why they do not want Blackwell - yes, its true, he does have a fondness for the odd pie and pint but he is the perfect "last man".  What does "Last man" mean - well, in short, hes the guy you add to the other best ten and he fits around.  Got no spinner?  he can do it.  ant a decent top order bat...he's there.  Allrounder....yep, that too.

Borthwick should be pshed, I agree.  But with Colly and Benko in there already, having three frontline seamers Borthwick and Blackwell seems to make eminent sense, and would hardly weaken their batting given Mustard at seven, Borthwick eight...

No body doubts he is a good player but blackwell has been harshly treat in my opinion ,
U was around the ground when cook and backers fell out he wa made to train alone which in cricket I tell u bowling at one stump in a net obviously was demoralising
