sgcricket, sold heaps of kits of late, as procricket once said "odd and crap kit." Still have ample of it stocked up.

Just a quick question.
I see most of you guys have 2 sets of batting pads, and sometimes 2 helmets. Is this because you have games Saturday and Sunday so you need fresh pads? Or do you just spend a ridiculous amount of time in the middle so you need to change them a lot?
I don't know anyone in NZ who has two sets of pads.
And yes I do know everyone who plays cricket in NZ ;)

Option 4: People on here just like kit and rather than choose between bat x or bat y.. Have both :) (same with gloves, pads, helmets etc).

I only swap gloves during the game when batting as they get sweaty but then pretty much everyone does that I would have thought.

I have a pair of pads I net in and play in as I don't want my rare Newbery's to get marked up.

What a posey twit I know...I'm sure I'm not alone though.

I've not done it before but I've gone for a pair of net/T20 pads this year. Just to keep my other pair nice for sat/sun cricke (ie proper cricket). Always have net and game gloves though as my net gloves get properly recked!

All sorted out really, just expect pads to be green ones and gloves to be GM Original LE. But here is most of it;

Love the helmet! Got the exact same one but with gold stripes instead of the silver

I have a pair of gloves for different situation...

For example, if I'm expected to bat out a vital couple of overs, or build a slow long innings I use a pair of Adidas gloves.

If I need a quick 30/40 or fancy a bit of a bash, I use my Woodstock's...

Maybe a bit superstitious but it's one of those things where when your in the habit, it's tough to get out of!

I have a different set of gloves depending on which bat I use as they have to match (and I am really considering un branded pads to avoid 2 brands being used)

Looks Classy Uzair
I am assuming that your other room is full of pre 2013 kit and therefore you had to move 2013 stuff to new room
like the look of those pads

Cheers. Ha! Actually its my brothers room, he doesn't live here so that room is more for my equipment storage.

I have cleared massive amount of kit lately so don't have as much. Will post a picture sometime soon.

Cheers.

Here you go sir;
