I've just got myself a bowling machine and feeder but now need to find a recorder with tripod, get recording some of hte net sessions for aftershow analysis. Anyone know any decent recorders to use?

I'll get some photos up tomorrow of it all, just to prove it exists :).

Bat;
Newberry UZI which was surplus from their 'test' stock. 2lb 9. Slightly losing it's edge so a new #1 bat is on the cards. Not sure which way I'm going to fall yet.

Shoes;
Asics. The running shoe type with small spikes. Super comfy.

Gloves;
Newberry UZI

Pads;
Warsop stebbing. A set with close fielding pads as inserts. They don't make them anymore and I've never seen anything like them. They are so comfy.

So

Bats: Red Ink Custom, Kook Recoil 700
Gloves: Kook R900, Ayrtek LE
Pads: Kook R900
Spikes: Asics Strike Rates
Helmet: Masuri Ti *Need to buy one of the new shape grills
Bag: Salix Pod Pro

Might as well give that Kookaburra a go, give this flat face a fair chance. I did average 32 with it in 2 innings last year.

It's saying the pics are all 'too large'.. Which I wouldn't mind but they are only taken on the Ipad!!! not annoying at all.

After selling/giving to friends/retiring a lot of my stuff, I've got the following leftover from 2012:

Powerbow Strauss LE bat
Bellingham & Smith Supreme bat
Vitas Cricket Lion Roar bat
Legend batting pads
Powerbow players batting gloves
Quantum elite batting gloves
Strippers p2
Gray Nicolls pro performance duffle bag
Asics Gel Advance 4 spikes

For 2013 I have got or will be getting:

Laver & Wood Reserve Bat
Dynadrive bat
Legend batting gloves
Legend keeping gloves & pads
Geoff Wymer custom fitted keeping gloves
Vitas Cricket batting pads & gloves
Gray Nicolls players bag
Slazenger pro tour leather holdall, the little one
Asics 200 not out spikes
Ayrtek blue tinted RAW helmet
Toying with a Masuri keepers lid as I feel like I'll want something minimalist to keep in, but I'm sure I'll love my ayrtek.

On my wish list I still really want (but considering my existing gear, could never justify needing) the following:

Slazenger V12 or V6 bat, plus pro tour batting pads & gloves.
GM Epic Graeme Smith Player Edition bat.
I used to have all the top softs from M & H in the tan leather, inc the keeping gear. Seeing it in this creamy white leather for 2013 makes me want it again, drooool.

Was bloody hard work narrowing all my choices down to my current list! You should have seen my list 3 months ago!

My Grays Legend keeping gear still hasn't arrived, nor have my bags or my Asics shoes. And the wish-list is still a wish-list currently, but here's what I've got kicking about at the moment. My Laver arrived today. :)

Thanks  :) It's got a mid-low sweetspot and comes in at 2.9. Just received it this morning so still picking it up every time I walk past it. The wife is not home so I had time to take the pictures :D

That's a fine collection! Hopefully I'm able to narrow down my own collection to 8 as well, but the brothers will have 3-4 bats each, leaving a max of 16 bats left over... How does the DP play btw? I don't hear much about them, despite the fact they are a forum sponsor! :-[ And I agree with Wilkie, the Laver on the right has a lovely profile. :D

I got this D&P bat from the guys in Cape Town and Kevin, their bat maker, sorted me with a beauty. This is not the top of the range version, as used by Vernon Philander, but is still excellent.

I don't understand why the guys who are the forum sponsors here, the UK distributors, aren't more active, because the guys in Cape Town are really putting out great gear.

All my bats are ready to go now,  L-R GN Nitro Extreme originally 3lb now 2lb12oz, Hunts County Mettle 3 2lb9oz, GM Halo 606 2lb9oz, and a Wright Cricket Thunderstick 2lb13.5oz.  Also got a brand new Newbery B-52 2lb12oz and another Wright Cricket Thunderstick 2lb10.5oz at my parents.

Try and get pics of all kit up over Xmas, once I've given my pads and gloves a bit of a clean
