After confidently saying I was settled on my kit after not long joining the forum I've bought a fair bit! When it's all arrived will do another picture (and still want a new bag)

Just about got my match kit sorted - most of it sourced from the forum ;).

Bat: H4L Excel LE (2lbs 12oz)

Batting Pads: Bulldog Sample pads

Batting Gloves: H4L Excel

Protection: Kookaburra Blade Inner/Outer

Helmets: Ayrtek Premier Ti (fibreglass version)

Shoes: Adidas Twenty2 Mid
          Asics 335 (plastic studs)

Bags: Salix Pod Pro
        Kookaburra Duffle

and just one more item in the kit bag...

Dog: Dexter Chi-chon cross (4lbs 8oz)

Glad to see those Bulldog pads making their way into the match kit Chris

Just putting my bag together for tomorrow.

So in Salix bag I will have

Bats: Red Ink Custom, Mongoose MMi3
Gloves: GN Legend, Ayrtek Elite LE
Pads: GN Oblivion Test
Helmet: Masuri Elite
Thigh pads: Aero P2
Shoes: Asics Strike Rate Customs ;)

How are you getting on with the Oblivion pads mate? I know you are quite picky and like the same style pad as me

Used them in a couple games and a couple nets, the first game I used them I batted for about an hour and a half. No discomfort and they were very comfy, that was straight out of the packet as well. They are a little bigger than say Kook pads, but they feel good, protection is also very good.

How's the tophat size? And do they sit low? Bloody short legs always dictate what I get.

Good luck to day pal

They don't sit that low as they have a shallow instep, won't be surprised if the canes snapped with the way I keep pushing them down! The top hat is very nicely design, has that bit of give in it so it its set back into your thigh

and cheers, you too!

My new and improved (and trimmed down) bat collection. Having sold 4 bats and bought 2 recently, this is now my new lineup. I'm pretty pleased with it, although 2 haven't been used yet.

My BB is my favourite, in terms of profile and performance (although haven't used my RI or Mechten yet). BB is Saturday match bat, the other 3 will battle for Sunday games while the Vantage (an MSR) is my net. All weigh between 2lb 10oz and 2lb 12oz, except the MSR which is 2lb 14oz. All have 2 grips on and most shoe goo.

The kook bat I sourced for the no 11 bat in our 2nd team last season but he has gone AWOL so I still have it

The mh 2010 is about 2 10 but feels very light, the 2012 one is 2 11 but feels about that as the handle is thin. Both are superb bars with over 72mm spines

Gloves are x2 puma 5000 gloves from 2010 x2 duck and run x2 mh distinction x1 bb gloves and unused puma pulse gloves

Pads puma kinetic 5000 and the bionic ones which are unused

I'm going to flog the bb bat and gloves ..... I think 200 for both is reasonable ... Both have never been used or even left my house

Just a quick snap of my kit, had no idea I had quite this much, seemed less when I had bits hidden away  :D
