Winter Coaching
« on: September 06, 2012, 12:35:05 PM »

Afternoon all! As I had a decidedly rubbish season with the bat I thought I'd indulge myself with a bit of winter coaching - does anybody know of any adult coaching weeks over the winter months? The only ones I can find seem to be for youngsters!?

For Elmswell CC - we are a mighty village team! We're not doing nets though until Easter. I just want to get my technique up a bit and get some more batting practice in before the season starts again as I love playing but am getting frustrated with my own rubbish performance. If I can score a fifty I'll be a happy man!!

I can only speak for up in the North West but here all of the specialised training courses are generally for about 10-16 but at Old Trafford Cricket Centre for example do 1 hour 1 on 1 sessions for about £30ish each, they're expensive but really are worth it, I for one benefitted from them greatly except for all the green marks the bowling machine left on my bat! So maybe you could try your local county ground?

Anyone know of any good coaches in North London? I've tried Lords and Oval but am looking for something a bit more personal, would like to have multiple sessions over winter.
