Does the below also apply to bat tape?

"Anti-scuff – All bats may have a sheet of traditional style anti-scuff fitted. This sheet shall not exceed 0.04 in/1 mm in thickness"

Definitely seen multiple layers of bat tape that would be more than 1mm thick

Bought one of these last week.
Seen a better "ping" on my bat. Much stronger than other scuff sheets

Might be worth trying a thicker design (as people have mentioned). Same theory as a laminate bat, but not too sure if it would be illegal to use a 2-3mm scuff sheet
