I sense negativity towards the brand
Maybe If they where forum sponsors people reaction would be different

Oh well I like my bat hope it plays well

Just under 2lb 7oz the kippax now weights.

Has this forum gone so sponsored orientated that other bats are not even allowed to be spoken off

I'm doubt it's that, due to many brands such as M+H, GM etc always getting good things spoken about them.

I think I will keep my words to myself about what I think about things

Oh no I will not it is a forum after allr

What the hell had marketing got to do with my 1 bat I bought from them

Tim good for the forum sponsors custom makers who can make any shape they like i was not talking about them in this thead are the mods here for the user or sponsor only

This thread is about 1 b3 cricket bat I bought because I never had a machine made bat or to my limited intelligence have not

I like it yes

Dave, I was simply commenting on the discussion about the number of combinations, thinking it was part of the marketing material that B3 had created, as it was mentioned in this thread. As Tom has pointed out, this isn't the case. I was grabbing individual brands as examples (as using GM came up with far larger numbers!). I certainly wasn't suggesting that you should be using a sponsor.

I can't justify spending the money on one of these, however I'd love to see one on the go as I'd like to see how it compares to GM which use a similar process. What I think would be really interesting is to provide an upload service where you could use your own 3D software to create a bat shape for you, and get it converted to a CNC path and created, as per the bespoke service and cost. I wonder whether it will happen, as there are enough people on here who would love it!

Pretty sure you already can do that, email them your desired photo/profile/paint drawing and they'll call you on Skype to discuss it, and share screens so you can create a profile together.

That comes under the Bespoke service. And is what I'm doing in a couple of weeks time.

I think the clever thing with B3 is they let you create any of these combinations through the website ie. putting you in control of the design process. I'd like to think they will extend the number of designs upwards of  the 144 combinations mentioned once they get feedback on the custom bat orders. I wonder how much cloning of favourite bats will go on?

all of these B3 bats look like excellent pieces of willow, not a fault on any of the faces.

what is the performance like .... not overpressed rock hard things are they?

no mate it is not it quite spongy not to soft but certainly not to hard either

There much softly pressed than Laver but i rate lavers

Leaves little seam marks but the performance is great mate
