The machine makers sure do program a good bat I bought by the machine made

The bat is so responsive

Lovely shape glad I chose it as it being custom

If you chose from a predefined edge profile and spine then that isnt a custom shape...

Well it is what I chose mate for the options and I guess it is custom for the shapes there offering.

I chose what edges and what spine I wanted does that not count

Are you saying this shape is one of yours.....

All I know is it is one hell of a bat

Seems custom as yes set options but your own combination of those options makes it your bat so custom not that much different to ordering a bat and saying I want edges like this spine like this etc

there is an implication that this bat has similarities to a hadies...

which to my eyes are undeniable.

the hadies I tried last night was wonderful as was the other one, of Marcus'. A truly splendid shape.

What's similar the offset edges?

This looks bigger than hades I've seen

My view is that you have chosen one of roughly 150 shapes pre programmed into the cnc, so while it's the shape you choose it isn't exactly custom. I Guess the more important thing is that it sounds like it fits you well and is a beauty. That's what counts in my book.

Exactly Tim

The idea of custom seems very tomato tomarto to me if its what you choose and not standard (there series bats) then it's custom just like asking a maker to alter his set shapes

If its chosen from roughly 150 combinations how many shapes are really out there to use if you go to a maker

Well the way I look at it is I wanted this shape and got it so in my eyes it is custom

Remember though Tim the machine can make any shape

Your right though it does fit me and I love it

Bit more curve on the bottom of the edge than the hades and I think slightly more wood removed from the top as well and put into the area that matter

Off set edges apart I see no similarities sorry

It was custom because there stock shapes are different and it what I asked for

I love this bat, my only issue is with the price! If I'm paying a batmaker for his time and skill then I expect to pay a premium for it. I really don't see why I should pay a premium price for someone to flick a switch on a machine and go off and have a cup of tea. I can't see where they've got this pricing structure from. They don't have to do anything other than put the cleft in a machine and yet they're charging the thick end of £200 for the pleasure of owning one? I don't get it......

I'd have one like a shot if they were sensible money though... :D

How much do/would you pay for a TK made bat from the many who use him on the forum?
