removing spikes from shoes
« on: October 01, 2012, 01:50:52 PM »

hey i have a pair of full spikes atm but I'm not sure about full spikes.

if i was to remove the spikes out of the back half of each shoe and replace them with nothing would it be ok. would there be enough grip from the spikes at the front??? i wouldn't see how nothing would be any different to putting those rubbers in etc???

I would want to put something into the threaded holes in the heel, just so that they don't get filled with mud and make it difficult to re insert spikes at a later date.

You could use either rubber studs or these blanking inserts
