Did anyone watch last nights final?

Personally didnt see many of the games that were played, I think the format is sound in principle but with T20 tournaments coming thick and fast there are a dime a dozen to watch.

I watched a large chunk of it (thanks Father in law - who put his foot down when my son wanted to watch something else :) !!! ) Lumb batted really well. the Lions did not get their batting plans right - too many shots aimed over cow rather than straight.

Watched most of the games that were on when I got home from school. Aaron phangiso looked quality throughout the tournament and a good shout for south Africa in future. David wiese looked quality in the semi final, put that dynadrive to good work.

seen a fair bit in lunch and evenings and Sydney were good value for it.

T20 hasn't really evolved beyond the best set of sloggers win. Windies had the best sloggers, Sydney did as well. I'm talking about sloggers in the sense of batsman that can bat but also hit better than the oppo. Sydney won it easily because their attack was better than the Windies.

You've also got to wonder why Lumb couldn't make our t20 side....

I found Sydney to have an exhilarating young bowling attack, one of the highlights of the tournament for me!

fairplay to Sydney, thought they deserved it.

Still think the tournament is a bit of a let down
