Berkshire Bat Repairs
« on: October 10, 2012, 10:53:46 AM »

This is a review of a bat refurb done by Tom from Berkshire Bat Repairs.

Bat was looking pretty tired after two years without a re furb. I live in the Reading area and wanted someone local to give the bat a MOT, as i didn't fancy paying to send it to someone. So I found Tom on Facebook and he did a pretty good job. He put on a new face, sorted out its badly swollen toe, took off all the cherries on the edges (which must of taken ages) and oiled it too. Bat now looks 100% better.

I was pretty impressed with Tom's good service and at a decent price too

I'm sure the guy is good but the reviewer hasn't helped, makes it sound like he:-

took a scuff sheet off
sanded the bat down including the toe
oiled and put a new scuff sheet on

 :D

As Johners said, before and after pics are always more impressive
