Extremely flat now, but there was a bit in it on day 1. Rain has held together what would probably have been a nasty spinning track by now, not that it would have helped SA cos they didn't pick one and duminy is injured.

Given they are a batsman and spinner short, they will be more than happy with a draw.

In its 82 year test history, the Gabba has never broken up and been a nasty spinning track. Ever.

In parts yesterday it looked like a batsmans paradise, doesn't look like there will be a result with out some spectacular bowling/ batting collapse

Pup has started off as he means to go on.....climbed straight into a couple of boundaries, one of which was placed perfectly!  8)
Would like to see Hussey get a ton! And unless they get him out soon, pup will grab 300!!!

Don't fancy a declaration and an attempt at a win?

Aus start very well on what looks like an absolute belter of a track, a 55 yd boundary one side should encourage Warner to smash it!!
