He lets go of it differently and it doesn't turn either?

Great start by the Aussies in this final test. Saffas 5/75, Mitch Johnson surprising me and bowling well so far!! And as I type make that 6 with a wicket for Johnson. Hasting and stark bowling really good as well. Cowan will be happy the sitter he dropped didn't cost them anything!!

206-8, this is going to be a cracking game...

something I'm not getting here - why was debutant Elgar batting ahead of Mr "i Average 200+ in Test cricket" Du Plessis?

Fantastic moment when the Aussies were 2 down and there was a standing ovation for Ponting coming out to bat which quickly changed to boos when Nathan Lyons walked out as nightwatchman.

Yes it's just a front of hand straight-on ball. If he get's lucky it either drifts or lands on the seam and goes a fraction away. Not any different to Swann's arm ball just a different grip. It won't turn like a Doosra and to be honest Lyon turns the ball so little it shouldn't worry an organised test batsman. On a bunsen burner it might be useful.
