Great start by the Aussies in this final test. Saffas 5/75, Mitch Johnson surprising me and bowling well so far!! And as I type make that 6 with a wicket for Johnson. Hasting and stark bowling really good as well. Cowan will be happy the sitter he dropped didn't cost them anything!!

Johnson always bowls well at the WACA!

Clarke out to an absolute gem from Steyn...in a very big hole in the moment.

It was quite surprising how the spot was not visible to hotspot, perhaps vaseline effect?

Some amazing catches today. Peterson, Johnson but I think Lyon's has to top it. Stunning effort reminiscent of Kirtley's a few years back.

AMLA!! shashing it to all parts like it is a totally different wicket to the first 2.5 days!!

Oh and awesome curse the_bird!
34.4
Starc to Kallis, no run, Lyon drops it! After taking a ripper not too long ago, Kallis punches this half-heartedly straight to cover point, low to Lyon and he had that covered but he fluffed it

What a turn around for my boys.. From backs against the wall for most of the first two tests to complete Dominance in the 3rd test.. Deserve that number 1 spot at least for a little while longer  :D...

I do however wish the great Ponting had scored a few more runs in this test.. He will be missed :(

The way the Aussies finished the match was extremely disappointing. Cowan threw it away after grafting hard all morning. After a great first couple of test, Clarke also threw his hand away when the situation demanded more discipline.

The difference was there for all to see. SA managed to tough it out when they were faced with potential defeat, in two consecutive tests no less. The Aussies ran out of steam in the final test and had no one capable of saving them from defeat. SA showed the Aussies exactly how test cricket should be played over the course of the series.

Clarke can't be expected to save the day every Test.
