Stuffs expensive in Oz! $240 for pads!? Jeepers

Also, Chest Guard? Is it pink?  ;)

The pads are morrants , notoriously expensive to begin with , got them direct from morrant ...the price goes up with shipping from u.k . Could have been worse though , I bought the pads a few days after Brexit , if i had bought them a couple months earlier I would have been looking at $270-80ish .
The chest guard is not pink  ;) :D ....but yeah , i know , its a bit girly . In my defence I do play a high standard/grade and the chest guard helps me psychologically not try to defend/protect my rib cage as much and play more pulls and hooks (plus i always use it when training on astro or using bowling machines ramped up to 85mph+, and feel better batting in games with the same type of gear that i train with). If it helps make more/quicker runs , then so be it .

Can't blame you on the chest pad. If I were playing on hard, bouncy Oz tracks facing 85mph+ I'd wear one too! Or to be honest, I'd have probably gone home  :D

right here goes, seriously feel like the only straight bloke at a lesbian and gay convention but here goes:  :)

gloves 6 quid(kook) second hand ebay
pads(island) 5 quid off ebay
bat:
h4l nv repaired off matt as my previous hand picked(don't don't get me started on handpicking bats being the best thing since sliced bread) one split in half in a storm 80 quid
h4l hellfire used off the other matt on here, for next year £120.00

total  211.00

if you take this season only I hav'nt used the hellfire so it's actually
6 plus 5 plus 80   total

91 pounds.

beat that......

Let's see how it's changed...

So I've spent around £200 on kit over the past 4 years...

Get out. The pair of you, get out.

I know... I know... I'll make up for it soon.

I get an idea in my head that I want to buy something really expensive and cricket related, pester Jake @ Vitas and then decide not to buy it... I guess I like money too much.

Since we are all showing off in terms of what I spent in 2016 on my kit was $15 CDN on a replacement box, everything else is older. In terms of bats B3 was purchased in 2015....so there :P
