Both finally landed in Oslo yesterday having ordered them for team mates over the summer.

Both 2.9, have to say I much prefer the shape/feel of the GT to the Icon.

I want that GT! Especially after Ebay ruining my chances of getting one! Never been a huge fan of the Icon though... Not too sure why... Hope your team mates are happy about them! I sure would be.

The GT just oozes class and feels lovely, the GM is nice enough but doesn't feel as good and isn't anywhere near as well finished considering they were pretty much the same price.

Buying bats for team mates is about the only way I have managed to stop myself buying more for me!

Yeah, it's had a fair old bit of traveling so far, London, Stirling, Sweden, Stirling, Sweden, Oslo, and that's just since leaving you guys. The two lads they are for are going to have a tough time waiting for the first nets in Febuary!

Nope the swedes just sent it back first the first time.

Hardly a horror story though, a few years back one of the clubs ordered 20 odd bats direct from Pakistan and when they arrived here the Norwegian customs department drilled holes in all of them to check for drugs!Not something thay'd do with a set of cross country skis I'm willing to bet!
